How to make

Grind the walnuts for a while with a blender, add 3-4 spoons of sugar to them and continue to grind.

Beat the egg whites with a mixer and add the remaining sugar and starch. Then add the mixture to the walnuts and mix everything well.

Draw 7.9″ (20 cm) in diameter circles on 5 pieces of baking paper. Distribute the mixture evenly between them and form the cake layers, which are baked in a preheated oven at 320°F (160°C) for 10 minutes.

While they're still warm, remove the paper and leave them to cool.

The cream for the Garash cake is prepared by beating the yolks with the powdered sugar with a mixer. Then add the milk and place it on the stove and stir constantly, until it thickens.

Cool it slightly and add the broken chocolate to melt and beat with a mixer. Finally, add the soft butter and vanilla.

The Garash cake is assembled by alternating cake layers and cream.

Pour the glaze on top, which is made from the warmed up milk and chocolate.

Decorate it as you like - in this case I decorated my homemade Garash cake with ground and crushed walnuts.
