Ingredients

  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • oil - 1 cup
  • milk - 1 cup (200 ml)
  • cocoa powder - 4 tbsp.
  • baking powder - 1 1/3 tsp (7 g)
  • flour - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • FOR THE CREAM
  • milk - 5 cups (1 liter)
  • sugar - 7 tbsp.
  • vanilla - 1 ampoule
  • flour - 8 tbsp.
  • FOR THE GLAZE
  • milk - 1 cup
  • chocolate - 7 oz (200 g)
  • butter - 1 tbsp.

How to make

1 cup is 200 ml!

For the cake layer, beat the eggs with the sugar and by stirring at all times, add the oil, milk and cocoa.

Finally, add the sifted flour and baking powder and mix everything well.

Pour the mixture into a greased square mold or baking pan.

Bake it at 360°F (180°C) for about 15-20 minutes

For the cream, pour the milk into a small pot, add the sugar, vanilla and while stirring at all times, add the flour. Stir the cream, until it thickens, over medium heat.

With the thick cream, which is obtained, while it is still hot, pour it over the baked cocoa cake layer.

Leave the chocolate cake to cool, until the cream hardens.

For the glaze, heat the milk, add the chocolate along with the butter and stir, until a smooth and fine glaze is obtained.

Pour the glaze over the already cooled Turkish Chocolate Cake - Pasta Tarifi.
