"Homemade cream pie with blueberry jam - inspiringly delicious"

Ingredients

  • filo pastry sheets - 1 package (1.1 lb /500 g/)
  • milk - 5 cups (1 liter)
  • butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • flour - 5 tbsp.
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • blueberry jam - 1 jar

How to make

Finely tear the filo pastry sheets and place them in the oven, until they aquire a golden brown color.

Beat the eggs along with the flour and 1/2 cup (100 ml) of milk.

Put the rest of the milk on the stove along with the sugar and butter. When the butter and sugar are melted, add the egg mixture in a thin stream. Stir, until the cream thickens.

In a cake tin with a removable bottom, put a little of the cream and then the toast filo pastry pieces on top. Then cover it again with cream and add the blueberry jam.

Alternate the products and finish off with cream and blueberry jam. On the side, decorate the cream pie with toasted filo pastry pieces.
