"Well leave the creative part to you. Were only giving you a tried and tested recipe for dough, which rises easily"

Ingredients

  • flour - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • egg - 1 pc. + yolk for spreading
  • dry yeast - 1 pc.
  • salt - 2 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • sesame seeds - for decoration (or poppy seeds)
  • milk - 8.5 fl oz (250 ml)
  • water - 5.1 fl oz (150 ml)
measures

How to make

The flour is sifted.

Make a well, crack the egg into it, add the dry yeast, salt, sugar, milk and water and knead a soft dough, which does not stick to your fingers.

If necessary, you can add flour.

Leave it to rise for about 40 minutes, or in order for it to rise faster, you can preheat the oven to 120°F (50°C), turn it off and place the dough inside an open oven.

From the risen dough, form a pita of your choice and desire, leave it to rise once more and bake it in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) until it's ready.

My pita with dry yeast and milk is very tasty.
