How to make
The milk or water, or 50:50, is/are warmed slightly and placed in a bowl.
Add the yeast, sugar, salt, then the eggs and the yogurt and soda, which have been mixed in advance.
Gradually add the sifted flour and knead a non-stick dough.
Leave it for about 15-20 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator, then fry the mekitsi in heated oil.
The dough can be rolled out into about 0.2″ (0.5 cm) crust or pieces can be torn and stretched out.
They are served with white cheese, honey, jam of your choice, mixed salt and hebs, samardala, etc.
A large amount is obtained - depending on how many people you will be preparing them for, you can divide the products.
The delicious mekitsi with milk, yeast and soda are ready.
