How to make
Beat the butter and powdered sugar into a fluffy cream.
Add the egg whites one at a time, while beating at all times and flavor the mixture with vanilla. For a stronger flavor, two vanilla powders of 0.2 grams each can be added.
Sift the flour in portions and mix, until it has been completely absorbed.
A very soft and fluffy mixture is obtained, which is filled in a piping bag with a smooth tip.
Leave it in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to set.
Cover two baking trays with parchment paper and pipe out long strips at a distance from each other. They should be narrow and they will will expand during baking.
Bake the cats tongue biscuits at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for 7 to 10 minutes or until they aquire an appetizing color on the edges.
The classic biscuits are left to cool completely before peeling them off the paper.
