  • cottage cheese - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • nettle - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • butter - 7 oz (200 g)
  • eggs - 2
  • milk - 1/2 cup
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • oil - 4 tablespoons
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • basil
  • black pepper

How to make

Knead the flour, egg yolks, butter, milk and baking powder into a dough and leave it to rest.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling: boil the nettle and drain it. Heat the oil and fry the finely chopped onion, garlic, nettle. Add the flour and pour in a little water. Season with basil and black pepper. Add the cottage cheese and remove from the heat. Mix well. The filling should be thick.

Roll out the dough into a sheet. Cut out circles. In each, place some filling and stick it together well. The pirozhki can be fried in hot oil or brushed with egg and baked in the oven.
