How to make

For the base, grind the biscuits with half of the walnuts and mix them with the melted butter and one beaten egg.

Distribute the mixture in a thin, even layer in a round cake tin with a detachable bottom - 10″ (26 cm) in diameter.

Bake the base for 10-12 minutes in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 degrees).

During this time, beat 3 eggs with 6-7 tbsp. of sugar (full tbsp. with a tip).

Add the cream cheese and finely grated lemon peel and beat, until a smooth and fluffy mixture is obtained.

Wash, cut in half and remove the pits from the plums. Cut them into very thin crescents and arrange them on the baked cake base, by setting aside pieces for decoration.

Distribute the rest of the walnuts.

Pour the cheese mixture over the cake and put it back in the oven at the same temperature.

Bake the cake for 20 minutes or until it aquires a beautiful golden crust.

When it cools, decorate the cake with the leftover plums and walnuts and serve the cake.

Enjoy!
