Ingredients

  • rice - 300 - 320 g
  • trout - 1 pc. large (or 2 smaller pcs.)
  • savory herb - 1 pinch (ground)
  • lemons - 1/2 pc.
  • leek - 1 stalk
  • black pepper - 2 - 3 pinches
  • oil - 60 ml
  • dried vegetables spice - 1 tbsp.
  • salt - by taste

How to make

Wash and cut the leeks (the white part and light green leaves). Fry them briefly, until they soften. Add the spices on it - salt, black pepper and savory herb. Add the rice. Cook for two minutes.

Put it in a baking pan. Pour water or fish broth into it - the amount is according to the type of rice used for your fish dish. Pour the dried vegetables spice and salt, if needed.

The washed and cleaned trout is seasoned with salt and lemon. It is added to the rice and liquid.

Place the baking pan in a 390°F (200 degree) preheated oven and bake the dish for half an hour or until the crust of the fish becomes crispy.

You can then serve the oven-baked trout with rice and leeks.
