"Oven-Roasted Carrots - a delicious and healthy side dish to any dish."

Ingredients

  • carrots - 10 - 15 thin pcs.
  • dried mint - 1 tsp.
  • dried thyme - 1/2 tsp.
  • coriander - 1/2 tsp. (roasted seeds)
  • cumin powder - 1/4 tsp.
  • hot paprika - 1 tsp.
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp.
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • sea salt
  • black pepper - freshly ground

How to make

Preheat the oven to 430°F (220°C).

Wash the carrots well, clean them, cut them in half lengthwise, pour olive oil, season with salt and black pepper, thyme, turmeric and cumin.

Heat the pan in which you will roast them for 3-4 minutes. Transfer the carrots into a preheated pan and roast them for 20-25 minutes.

The vegetables should caramelize and soften.

Meanwhile, crush the coriander seeds and add them to the butter along with the hot paprika.

Pour the roasted carrots with the resulting flavored butter, turn them well to spread it everywhere.

Serve the oven-roasted carrots immediately.
