How to make
The yeast is dissolved into warm milk with the sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour. Keep it in a warm area until it activates. Sift the flour, add the salt and egg, oil and yeast. Knead the dough and let it rise again in a warm place for about 45 minutes.
Then divide it into 2 parts and roll out each one into a sheet and cut it like a cake – in 8 triangles. At the bottom of each triangle, put a little jam or other stuffing as desired and roll into scones. Arrange them on a tray with baking paper and leave them to rise for half an hour.
Beat the egg with a little oil and brush the scones on top. Optionally, you can sprinkle them with a little sugar or sesame, poppy seeds, etc. Put them to bake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 °C), until golden.
