Ingredients

  • crushed walnuts - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • sunflower tahini - 3.5 oz (100 g) or sesame
  • honey - 3.5 oz (100 g) or agave syrup
  • melted coconut oil - about 0.5 oz (15 g)
  • coconut flour - 2 tsp (10 g)

How to make

Put all of these products in a deep bowl and using a wooden spoon or spatula mix everything very well.

Stir until everything is mixed and a homogeneous mixture is obtained, which resembles dough - it is shiny, does not stick and you can shape it with your hands.

Once the dough is ready, you can shape it into a large ball with your hands, shape it into an elongated form or press it into a tray with baking paper.

After shaping the homemade halva as you wish, put it in the freezer for about an hour to set. Once it is firm, you can cut the tahini halva.

If you prefer a harder halva, store it in the freezer and if you want it to be softer and tender, keep the gluten-free sunflower halva in the refrigerator.
