"This is how we make vegetable spreads in the village - easy and incredibly tasty"

Ingredients

  • white cheese - 7 oz (200 g)
  • tomato sauce - 4 - 5 tbsp. (canned)
  • fresh basil - 3 - 4 leaves
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • green peppers - 1/2 pcs.
  • eggs - 2 pcs. (hard boiled)
  • paprika - 1/3 tsp.
  • mixed herbs and salt - by taste
  • mayonnaise - 4 tbsp. with a tip
  • parsley - for sprinkling

How to make

Crumble the white cheese into a bowl. Cut the pepper and garlic cloves, by first cutting them in half and remove the hot core (sprout). Add them in the bowl as well.

Add the mayonnaise, tomato sauce and eggs in pieces, the spices and chopped basil leaves.

Blend everything into a fine homogeneous mixture and serve the spread sprinkled with chopped parsley.

Serve it with toasted slices of bread or crackers.
