"Even the most ordinary potatoes become irresistibly delicious when cooked in a clay pot"

Ingredients

  • potatoes - 10 - 12 pcs. medium or small
  • brown mushrooms - 8.8 oz (250 g)
  • olive oil - 4 tbsp.
  • rosemary - 1 tbsp.
  • thyme - 1 tsp.
  • oregano - 1 tsp.
  • sweet paprika - 1 tsp.
  • smoked paprika - 1 pinch (or by taste)
  • dried parsley - 1 tsp.
  • duck fat - 2 - 3 tbsp.
  • water - about 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • salt - by taste
measures

How to make

Peel and chop the potatoes. Clean the mushrooms and just rinse them briefly, so that they don't absorb too much water and lose their taste.

Put them in a clay pot and mix them well with all of the spices, olive oil, duck fat, water and salt.

Put the pot in a non preheated oven and turn it on to 390°F (200 degrees). Bake for about 30 minutes or until the food aquires the desired color.

Serve the fragrant potatoes and mushrooms warm as a side dish to meat or on their own.

Enjoy your meal!
