"The perfect taste in one small bite - treat yourself to this delight with these Armenian Christmas Sweets"

Ingredients

  • oil - 1 1/4 cups (250 ml)
  • water - 1 1/4 cups (250 ml)
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • flour - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • for the filling
  • turkish delight - 1 box
  • walnuts
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling
  • vanilla

How to make

The oil, water and salt are mixed in a metal cookware and placed on the stove to boil.

The flour is mixed with soda and poured at once to the boiling mixture. Stir until the dough peels off of the walls of the cookware.

Tear a bit from the dough, flatten it and place a piece of Turkish delight and a walnut in the middle.

The Armenian sweets are arranged in a tray lined with baking paper.

Approximately 90 small sweets are obtained from this dose.

The sweet balls are baked in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 degrees) until they aquire a pleasant color.

Immediately after baking, the sweets are sprinkled generously with powdered sugar mixed with vanilla.
