Ingredients

  • flour - 1 1/3 cups (320 g)
  • baking powder - 1 packet
  • oil - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • brown sugar - 1 cup (230 g)
  • chocolate - 4.25 oz (120 g) crumbled, or chocolate pellets
  • eggs - 3
  • apples - 4, grated
  • vanilla - 2 tsp, essence
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup
  • cocoa - 1 - 2 tsp, natural

How to make

Peel the apples and grate them. Mix them with the cinnamon. Sift the flour with the baking powder in a bowl and add the oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla and beat well.

Finally mix the apples and walnuts in. Pour half of the mixture into a greased and floured cake pan. Beat the other half with the cocoa and chocolate, then add it to the rest.

Put the cake with apples and chocolate to bake in a pre-heated oven at 360°F (180 °C) until ready.
