How to make
The fresh mussels are soaked in cold water as soon as you take them home.
Then their shells are rubbed with a brush and cleaned from the hanging mustache, which is attached to them. This is done with a sharp movement in the direction of the length of the mussels.
Then a deep pot with a lid is heated on the stove. Place the mussels in it and pour the white wine, the chopped butter, the spices, the carrots and the finely chopped parsley over them.
Cover the pot and leave it to simmer for 5 minutes. Then grab the pot carefully with gloves and shake it vigorously, so that the mussels open up.
Serve them immediately, while they're still warm. An ideal addition to them is fresh iceberg lettuce and a glass of fragrant white wine.
The Stewed Mussels with White Wine are ready.
