Ingredients

  • yeast - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g), fresh
  • margarine - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g), melted
  • milk - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • water - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • flour - 3 1/5 cups (780 g)
  • rye flour - 1 1/3 cups (320 g)

How to make

Dissolve the yeast in a mixture of hot water and milk with the sugar. Allow it to warm for 10 minutes. Add melted margarine and 2/3 of the flours. Knead a dough, then gradually add the rest of the flours.

Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes. Cover it with a cloth and leave it for an hour to an hour and a half to rise, or until its volume increases. The risen dough is divided into 20 parts. Form it into buns and arrange them on a baking tray.

Cover and leave for 30 minutes. Heat the oven to 440°F (225 °C). Smear the buns with cooking cream (can use a whipped egg yolk with water). Bake for 15 minutes or until golden.
