How to make
Put the washed and dried fish fillets cleaned from the bones in a greased baking pan, sprinkle them with salt and olive oil, put them in an oven preheated to 390°F (200 degrees) for 10-15 minutes, depending on their thickness.
During this time, prepare the Alfredo sauce, which is very quick and easy to make. It is a company mostly for pasta or poultry, but here we will use it for this wonderful white fish - cod or hake. Usually, egg yolks are rarely present in Alfredo sauce recipes, but in this case I added it to enrich the dish.
Heat the oil over low heat and put the finely chopped garlic in it to release its aroma. Pour the cream. You can add more of it if you like dishes with more sauce.
Cook for a few minutes on low heat, while stirring constantly and remove it from the heat.
Add as much salt as you like, add black pepper, parmesan and the egg yolk. Stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The yolk will be cooked from the residual heat, but it should not lump up, but should be creamy, when mixed with the cream.
Take the baked fish out of the oven and you can immediately pour the sauce over it, or you can place it into plates and then pour the delicious Alfredo sauce. If you prefer the first option, it is very good, because it will mix with the sauces of the fish from the cooking and it will become absolutely delicious.
Sprinkle with chopped chives or fresh parsley and serve the white fish with Alfredo cream sauce warm.
Enjoy your meal!
