How to make
Tenderize the pork chops lightly; if too large, cut them in 2-3 parts. Season them with salt and black pepper and add soya sauce. Cover the dish and put the meat to get seasoned for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Then heat the oil in a pan, roll the steaks in flour and fry until the meat is nice and red on all sides. Arrange the fried meat in a tray. In the same oil, braise the finely chopped onions, carrots and peppers. Once braised, add the rice and stir it until fried.
Pour in the wine, wait for the alcohol to evaporate and add 1 cup of warm water. Stir a few times and wait for the rice to absorb the liquid. Season it with spices and add it into the pan with the steaks.
Add about 3 cups of hot water and put the dish to bake in a moderately heated oven until the rice absorbs the liquid. Serve the pork chops with rice in the oven with a little chopped green onion or parsley and tomato slices for garnish.
