Ingredients

  • pork - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • chinese mushrooms - 3 dried
  • shrimp - 3.5 oz (100 g) raw
  • chicken broth - 6 1/5 cups (1500 ml)
  • bamboo shoots - 1 oz (30 g)
  • green onions - 3 bunches
  • sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • soya sauce
  • sauce - 1 1/2 tsp, chilli
  • vinegar - 1 1/2 tablespoons
  • sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • sherry - 2 tablespoons
  • eggs - 1
  • starch - 1 tablespoon
  • black pepper
  • salt

How to make

Cut the meat into strips about 2″ (5 cm) long and along with the shrimp and broth, put them in a pot to come to a boil and let simmer for 4-5 minutes. Soak the mushrooms for 5 minutes in boiling water, then cut them and add them to the boiling mixture. Add all the other ingredients except the egg.

Allow it to come to a boil again and boil for another 1-2 minutes. Take the pot off the heat and slowly add the beaten egg, stirring constantly until you get egg white threads.

Mix 1 tablespoon of soup with the starch and 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir well. Add the resulting mixture to the soup while stirring continuously.

Put the soup to come to a boil once again for 1-2 minutes and remove it from the heat.
