"Fresh Indian lassi - a healthy shake for every day"

Ingredients

  • yogurt - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • water - 1 cup (200 ml) cold, mineral
  • pears - 2 pcs. (well ripened)
  • cardamom - 6 pods
  • honey - 1 tbsp (25 g)
  • lemon juice - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 ml)
  • rose water - 1 tsp. (or pink jelly)

How to make

For this Indian drink, peel and clean the pears and cut them into pieces. They must be very well ripened and soft, so that they can be easily blended or mashed. The weight of the peeled and cleaned fruit should be about 4.5 oz (130 g).

Put the pieces in a blender or in a convenient container, if you are going to use a liquidizer.

Add yogurt, honey, lemon juice, rose water or jelly and cardamom pods (you can also use a teaspoon of cardamom powder).

Pour the water and liquidize or blend for a few seconds in a blender.

Distribute the pear lassi into cups and serve it.
