"Crunchy fruit temptation for everyone who knows how to enjoy life"

Ingredients

  • apples - 3 pcs.
  • rum - 2 - 3 tbsp. (or white dessert wine)
  • corn flour - 2 tbsp. fine (starch)
  • sugar - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • flour - 5.6 oz (160 g)
  • oatmeal - 4 tbsp.
  • butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp. (or by taste)
  • vanilla sugar - 2 tsp.
  • lemon juice - 3 tbsp. (freshly squeezed)
  • ice cream - for garnish (vanilla)
measures

How to make

Peel and cut the apples into relatively fine pieces, or into slices. Sprinkle them with lemon juice, so that they do not darken and mix them with rum, cinnamon and 4 tbsp. of sugar. Spread them in a baking pan (very suitable are glass or ceramic ones), greased with a little of the butter, with a diameter of 20 cm.

Sift the flour into a bowl and mix it with the sugar, oatmeal (preferably milled) and vanilla sugar.

Cut the cold butter and add it inside and start rubbing with your fingers until crumbs start to form. Refrigerate them and in the meantime turn on the oven to preheat to 360°F (180 degrees).

Pour the buttery crumbs on the apples and flatten them out, but do not smooth them out too much - the crumble should have a shaggy appearance.

Bake it for 30 minutes or until a golden brown color is aquired.

Serve the cooled crumble (or slightly warm) with a scoop of ice cream!

Enjoy!
