How to make
You can chose to use fresh or frozen strawberries. It is important to be cleaned and carefully stemmed.
Place the strawberries whole or chopped into a deep, wide pot, and add the sugar on top. Place the pot on the stove without stiriing.
Bring to a boil on high heat and reduce for the jam to keep simmering.
Once it starts to thicken, scoop a small quantity with a spoon and place it on a plate to make sure you have the desired consistency. Before setting aside add the citric acid and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Heat your jars in the oven and pour in the jam, while still hot. Seal the jars and turn them upside down. Allow them to cool completely.
This quantity is enough to fill about 10 small jars.
Your sweet and aromatic Strawberry Jam is ready.
