How to make
Put the biscuits in a food processor and grind them. Put them in a deep bowl and mix them with the melted butter.
In a cake tin, put the ready mixture and shape it like a base and this is done by pressing it down. Leave it in the refrigerator, while you prepare the stuffing.
In another bowl put the cottage cheese, sour cream, sugar and a glass of cherry jam. Beat all this with a mixer.
Pour the resulting mixture on the base and sprinkle it with ground walnuts. Put the cheesecake back in the fridge.
Also prepare the topping by placing the cleaned cherries in a bowl and with the help of a blender, blend them along with the sugar.
To the mixture add the gelatin, which you need to have prepared in advance according to the instructions on the package.
Pour it over the walnuts, arrange the whole cherries on top and it put back in the fridge for about 2-3 hours.
The cottage cheese and cherry cheesecake is ready.
