How to make
In a deep bowl, mix the wholemeal flour, oatmeal, crystal brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, baking soda and apple cider vinegar.
Stir them and gradually add warm water to this dry mixture, while striving to achieve a homogeneous mixture.
Add the grated apples and after leaving it aside for 10 minutes, bake it at 320°F (160°C) until it's fully baked - about 40-45 minutes.
When the pastry is ready, we can cover it to keep it soft.
This apple pastry is a great healthy afternoon snack, suitable even for fasting!
