How to make

Preheat the oven to 390°F (200°C).

Defrost the puff pastry, which needs to be rolled out onto a floured work surface.

Cut the onion into crescents.

Clean the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices. Cut the washed apple into cubes.

Fry the onions in olive oil, heated over medium heat, for about 30 minutes, in order to caramelize.

Transfer the caramelized onions into a bowl.

Fry the mushrooms in the remaining fat until they aquire a golden brown color and transfer them.

In the same pan, add a little butter and fry the apples with a spoonful of brown sugar for about 10 minutes.

Serve them with onions and mushrooms. Add grated cheese and thyme, stir and place the mixture on the puff pastry, which needs to have been spread with beaten egg in advance.

Bake the appetizing puff pastries for 25 minutes in a preheated oven.

Serve the special puff pastries with caramelized onions, mushrooms and apples sprinkled with chopped onions or spring onions.
