For these roasted carrots, peel the carrots and wash them.
Wrap each carrot with a strip of bacon, then arrange them it in a tray lined with baking paper.
Spread each carrot with maple syrup.
Season them with as much black pepper as you desire.
Bake them in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) for about 25-30 minutes.
Serve the warm bacon wrapped carrots as an appetizer with a little tomato sauce.
