How to make
Peel the apples, clean them from their seeds, grate them on a coarse grater and sprinkle them with cinnamon, stir and set them aside.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites into a froth and slowly add the sugar to them.
Sequentially, one by one add the yolks, vanilla, warm milk, oil and finally the flour mixed with baking powder and mix until a smooth fluffy mixture is obtained.
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees). Cover a tray measuring 25x40 cm with baking paper and pour half of the egg mixture into it, place it in the oven for about 10 minutes to catch a light crust (very important because I did not wait and the apple mixture went into it).
Take out the baking pan and sprinkle the topping evenly. Spread the remaining half of the egg mixture on it.
Bake the apple pita until it's ready and check with a wooden toothpick to see if it's fully baked.
Once the apple pita cools down, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
