How to make
Put 1 fig leaf in a compote jar. Arrange the cucumbers, that have been pierced with a fork in advance and add the other fig leaf.
Add brandy, salt, mustard seeds or peppercorns, then add water to the top of the jar. It is then closed with a cap.
The jars don't need to be sterilized.
A white residue will appear at the bottom of the jar, but this does not matter.
For 1 week they are turned every day and kept in a cool place.
