How to make
Whip the melted butter and powdered sugar thoroughly in a large bowl. Gradually add the flour, sifted in advance, and continue stirring until you get a crumbly dough. Distribute the dough in a pre-greased tray (diameter of 12″ (30 cm)), and form an edge along the walls.
You can distribute it into small oval forms and prepare mini shortcakes. Bake the cake layer to a golden tan in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven for about 10-15 minutes. Then allow it to cool. Beat the cream cheese or cottage cheese with a mixer and gradually pour in the whipped confectionery cream.
After 3-5 minutes, when it becomes a homogenous mixture, flavor it with the vanilla. Whip briefly until it becomes creamy. Smear the cream over the well cooled layer. Arrange sliced strawberries on top.
You can pour on melted chocolate or simply grate chocolate on top. Put the cake in the fridge for about 2 hours. After it cools completely, cut it into pieces and serve it.
