Ingredients

  • minced meat mix - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • black pepper - by taste
  • for the sauce
  • onion - 1 onion
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • peppers - 1 pc.
  • zucchini - 1 small zucchini
  • sour cream - 7 oz (200 g)
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • water - 2 cups
  • salt
  • black pepper - by taste
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)

How to make

For the meatballs, finely chop the onion and garlic, add them to the minced meat along with the egg and add as much black pepper as you like. Knead the mixture very well and set it aside.

For the sauce, finely chop the onion, peel the carrot, pepper and zucchini and cut them into strips.

Fry the vegetables in a little oil for 5 minutes and season them with salt. Dissolve the flour in the water until you have a smooth mixture, add the cream and mix well.

Pour the mixture over the fried vegetables and bring them to a boil without thickening the mixture.

Form meatballs from the minced meat and arrange them in a baking pan, pour the cream sauce over them and if necessary, add as much salt and pepper as you like.

Place the baking pan in a preheated 390°F (200 degree) oven and bake the oven-baked meatballs in a cream sauce for 30 minutes.

Then sprinkle them with grated yellow cheese and bake them for another 15 minutes.
