measures

How to make

Take out the products and leave them at room temperature for about an hour.

Add the baking soda in the yogurt. Beat the egg with the sugar. Add the yogurt with the baking soda and lard. Sift the flour and add it to the mixture. Knead a soft dough. Cut it into pieces.

Roll one part of it into a circle or rectangle (your choice) and cut it into long and thin triangles. In the wide part place a little Turkish delight piece and roll it up like a croissant. Do this with the whole dough.

Arrange them in a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 degrees) for about 20 minutes or until they're fully baked.

Since my Turkish delight pastries became the size of a croissant, I baked them for about 25 minutes. If you make them smaller, the baking time should be about 12-15 minutes.

When they're ready, take them out and roll them nicely in powdered sugar, mixed with vanilla. Store them in a food container.
