How to make
Wash and then soak the beans in cold water for 8-10 hours. Then throw out the water and put it to boil in 4 1/5 cups (1.5 liters) of new water along with bay leaf, while removing the foam if necessary.
Chop the onions, tomatoes, carrots and mint leaves finely. After boiling the beans for about 1 hour, add the olive oil, carrots, onions and tomatoes and boil slowly for 2 more hours.
Half an hour before the end of cooking, add the mint leaves, pepper, salt and finely chopped parsley.
