Ingredients

  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • yogurt - 1 cup (200 g)
  • warm water - 1 cup (200 ml)
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • salt - 1 tbsp.
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • baking soda - 1 pinch
  • fresh yeast - 0.7 oz (20 g)
  • flour - 5 cups
  • oil - 1/3 cup (100 g) for greasing
  • mixed herbs and salt - for sprinkling

How to make

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water, add the beaten egg, the yogurt mixed with the baking soda and salt. Knead a soft and elastic dough, while adding the sifted flour.

Wrap the dough with a clean towel and leave it to rise for 30 minutes.

With greased hands, distribute it into balls - the size of an egg. With your fingers, roll out the balls into a thin flatbread.

Heat the grill pan very well and lightly grease it with oil (grease the pan only in the beginning).

Bake the flatbreads on both sides in the grill pan. They're prepared quickly - for 2-3 minutes on each side. Grease the baked flatbreads with plenty of butter and sprinkle them with as much mixed herbs and salt as you desire.

Easy, aromatic and very, very tasty flatbreads!
