"A spicy combination of chili peppers and honey that all enthusiasts will enjoy!"

Ingredients

  • chili peppers - 6.5 lb (3 kg)
  • carrots - optional
  • garlic - optional
  • vinegar - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • water - 4 1/5 cups (1 liter)
  • oil - 1 cup or a bit less
  • honey - 1 tablespoon per jar
  • salt - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • parsley - 1 bunch, optional

How to make

Clean the hot chili peppers, carrots and garlic and in parallel, make a brine of the vinegar, oil, water, salt and honey by mixing them and putting to boil.

Fill the jars with peppers and put slices of carrot and garlic in between them every now and then. Top with 2 sprigs of parsley and top up with the hot brine.

The jars are closed immediately and turned with the cap down. If desired, sterilize for 10 minutes.
