  • peas - 1 jar
  • carrots - 1 small carrot
  • onion - 1 small onion
  • oil - 7 tbsp.
  • flour - 1 - 2 tsp.
  • thyme - 2 pinches
  • savory herb - 2 pinches

How to make

Heat the oil and sauté the grated onion and carrot and once they soften, add the peas from the jar, add salt and 1 cup of water and let them simmer on low heat for at least 15 minutes. Also add enough of the savory herb and thyme, but in equal amounts.

Dissolve the flour in a little water and pour in a thin stream, while stirring constantly and you can add more if you prefer a very thick stew. However, you should keep in mind that once it cools, it will thicken even more.

Leave on the heated hob until the flour is cooked, which is about 10 minutes, or the total cooking time of the stew is about 25 minutes.
