"Grab whatever`s ripened in the garden, a handful of rice and you`re ready. There`s no need to mention how delicious it is."

Ingredients

  • rice - 1 cup
  • oil - 1 cup
  • onions - 1 head
  • milk - 2 cups
  • feta cheese - 2 cups, crumbled
  • tomatoes - 5 - 6
  • eggs - 4
  • salt
  • parsley
  • black pepper - 1 tsp

How to make

Stew the rice in the oil along with the finely chopped onion.

Pour in the 1st cup of milk, mix and then transfer it into a greased tray. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese, arrange sliced tomatoes on top and sprinkle them with the salt and black pepper.

Create a topping from the beaten eggs, the remaining milk and the finely chopped parsley, pour it over the dish and bake in a moderate oven.

Serve the moussaka with yoghurt.
