How to make
For the dough: Pour the flour into a deeper bowl, add salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, dry yeast and mix the ingredients. Pour the oil into the pot, add the chopped margarine and place the pot on the heated hob. Stir until the margarine has melted.
Remove the pot from the heat, add the cold milk, yogurt, vinegar and stir. Transfer the mixture from the pot into a deeper bowl. Gradually, add flour and knead a soft dough.
Cover it with a clean kitchen towel and leave it for 45 minutes. Then knead the dough on a floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin into a large circle. Cut it into triangles.
Put a teaspoon of nutella on each triangle. Roll them up into mini croissants and arrange them in a tray lined with baking paper. Spread the milk over them and leave them aside for 30 minutes.
Then spread them with beaten egg and bake them in a well-heated oven at 390°F (200 degrees) for 20 minutes.
Take the baked mini croissants out of the oven, cover them with a clean kitchen towel and leave them to cool down. The mini croissants are ready to serve.
Tip: You can sprinkle the mini croissants (once they have cooled down) with powdered sugar before serving them. Instead of nutella you can use a chocolate spread of your choice or a jam of your choice. These mini croissants turn out very tasty and soft.
Enjoy them!
