"An aromatic cake for all who love eating anything sweet."

Ingredients

  • eggs - 4
  • apples - 3 - 4 medium
  • sugar - 3/4 cup
  • flour - 2 cups
  • honey - 1/2 cup
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • walnuts - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g), coarsely chopped
  • baking powder - 1 packet
  • lemons - rind of 1/2 a lemon or a few drops of lemon juice essence

How to make

Beat the eggs well with the sugar, honey and oil. Add the flour sifted with the baking powder and once homogenized, add the nuts, lemon rind and peeled and diced apples. Stir this thick cake mixture well. Spread it in a greased and floured baking tray.

Put the cake with honey and apples to bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven until the toothpick comes out dry when you poke it.

Allow the baked cake to cool and remove it from the form. Optionally, sprinkle it with mixed and sieved vanilla sugar and cinnamon.
