How to make

Soak the bread slices in cool water for a few minutes. Remove and squeeze them. Knead the mince for the frikkadels from the minced beef meat, eggs, crushed garlic, soaked bread, onion and finely chopped parsley, vinegar and cumin. You can add salt and black pepper to taste.

Form the resulting mince into frikkadels the size of a thumb, leave them to cool in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes. Roll them in flour and fry them in highly heated olive oil, then leave them on a paper towel to drain out their oil.

Preheat half a cup of olive oil. Fry 2 tablespoons of flour in it. Once they are fried until golden, add the white wine and tomatoes - peeled and grated.

Put the sugar in and mix. Simmer the sauce on moderately high heat, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Once the sauce has thickened, drop the frikkadels in it and boil for at least 5 minutes.
