How to make
Mix the minced meat with the egg, bread, finely chopped onion along with the parsley and spices. Shape patties, arrange them in a greased tray, add the canned tomatoes and the peppers to them.
Season the sauce with salt, pressed garlic and some oregano, cover it with foil and put it to bake in a moderately preheated oven.
You can optionally serve the Izmir meatballs with a sauce made from garlic and yoghurt.
