Ingredients

  • shrimp - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • breadcrumbs - 2.8 oz (80 g)
  • parsley - 2 tsp., chopped
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • paprika - 1/2 tsp.
  • olive oil - for frying
  • For the dip
  • mayonnaise - 2 tsp.
  • cream - 6 oz (170 g)
  • mustard - 2 tsp.
  • chives - 1 tsp.

How to make

Put the shrimp in a blender and grind them into chunky pieces - don't blend them into a puree.

Transfer them into a large bowl. Add the chopped onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg and spices. Stir, until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Form the mixture into fish patties.

Heat olive oil in a large pan. Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, until they acquire a golden brown color. Transfer them onto kitchen paper, so that it can absorb the fat.

For the dip: In a bowl, mix all the ingredients well.

The shrimp patties are ready.
