How to make
Beat the cream and add the vanilla. Set aside plenty of cream to use to decorate with afterwards. Set aside a few meringues to decorate at the end, put the rest in a plastic bag. Use something solid, such as a rolling pin, with which to crush the meringues in the bag.
Carefully roll the crushed meringues in the whipped cream. Put a chocolate layer in a large round plate. Brush with some of the cream mixture. Place the second layer on top and smear it with cream also. Place the third layer on it. Decorate the cake’s sides with the remaining cream.
You can place some cream in a plastic bag with a small hole in the bottom – to create a cone - with which to squeeze and decorate the cake.
Finally, stack the other meringues on the very top. Sprinkle a thin layer of sweet colored sprinkles.
