How to make
The egg whites are beaten with the salt until a fluffy mixture is obtained. Gradually add the sugar, by beating well, until glossy peaks are obtained.
Finally add the vanilla, vinegar and cornstarch. Pour the mixture into a baking pan on baking paper.
It is formed into a round cake layer. Place it in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C).
The temperature is reduced to 250°F (120°C) and the cake layer is baked for about an hour and a half.
The baked cake layer is cooled and placed on a suitable plate or tray. Cover with the beaten confectionery cream.
Place the sliced strawberries and bananas on top. The meringue cake is sprinkled with coconut flakes.
The Pavlova Cake with Strawberries and Bananas is ready.
