How to make
Put about 4 cups of water in the pot.
When it boils, put a whole onion (peeled), whole garlic cloves, the potatoes cut in 4, and the carrot, and put the vegetable broth in.
Let it boil for 20 minutes, after 20 minutes take out the onion. Cut the florets from the broccoli and put them in the pot with more water.
If you want the soup to be thicker, you may not add much water; add the basil leaves ... let it boil for another 10 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat to cool. The delicious broccoli soup is pureed in a blender.
Add salt and pepper to taste, as well as the 4 tablespoons of cream and the butter, and return to the stove for 5 minutes.
When serving, squeeze a slice of lemon in the bowl of creamy broccoli soup.
