How to make
Peel the apples, cut them in half, seed them and slice them finely.
Beat the eggs with the demerara sugar, gradually add the melted butter, then sift in the flour with the baking powder, 1/2 tsp of salt, the caramel topping and finally the fresh milk.
Add the apples to the batter and stir.
Grease a spingform cake tin (26 cm in diameter) with butter, pour the batter and add some caramel topping on top. Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees) and bake the pie for one hour.
Remove from the oven and while it's still warm add some more caramel topping.
Let the pie cool, slice and serve.
