Pick out larger sauerkraut leaves for wraps. Mix the washed rice with spices and roll the leaves into wraps, then set them aside. Grab a large clay pot and start arranging the products. On the bottom, place the piece of bacon, then cover it with a little chopped sauerkraut.
Put the veal in and cover it with sauerkraut also. Then add pork, cover it with sauerkraut as well, then put in the chicken, sauerkraut again, blood sausage and black pudding and on the very top arrange the leaf wraps. Add a glass of red wine and a cup of sauerkraut juice.
Cover the pot tightly with foil. Bake for five hours, initially have the oven at 390°F (200 °C) for about an hour, and then reduce it to 260°F (125 °C).
