How to make
Dissolve the baking soda in the yoghurt and mix it with the oil, flour and cocoa until evenly mixed. Pour the mixture into a greased and lightly floured baking tray and bake it in a preheated moderate oven until ready.
Make the sugar syrup by boiling the water and sugar for 2-3 minutes. Allow the syrup to cool and smear the cake with it.
Smear the cake with sour cream and garnish it with some grated lemon rind, if desired. Based on your personal preference, you can also add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts and vanilla to the cake mixture before baking.
