"Surely you know it`s improper to serve your sausages naked!"

Ingredients

  • flour - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • yeast - 1 1/3 tsp (7 g) dry
  • butter - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • milk - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • sausages - 4
  • eggs - 1
  • sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1 pinch
  • tomatoes - 1

How to make

In the sifted flour, make a well and pour the yeast which you've dissolved in the milk into it. Add the salt, sugar and melted butter.

Knead a dough and let it rise for 15 minutes. Cut the sausages in half lengthwise and slice the tomato into strips.

From the rolled out dough, form strips with a thickness of 3/4″ (2 cm). Wrap each sausage half and tomato strip with the dough spirally, until completely covered.

Smear the dressed sausages with egg and bake them in an oiled baking dish for 15 minutes at 390°F (200 °C).
